Resulting Trust
A trust implied by law when property is transferred but beneficial ownership is intended to remain with the transferor.
Example
The court found a resulting trust when she paid for the house but title was in his name.
Canadian Equivalent
In Canada, this is referred to as Resulting Trust (recognized in Canadian equity; commonly used in common-law property disputes).
