Colorado Revised Statutes 2025 — Title 14: Domestic Matters — Article 13: Uniform Deployed Parents Custody and Visitation Act § 14-13-301 Definitions 14‑13‑301. Definitions. As used in this part 3, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) Petitioner means a person who seeks enforcement of an order for the return of a child under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction or enforcement of a child‑custody determination. (2) Respondent means a person against whom a proceeding has been commenced for enforcement of an order for the return of a child under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction or enforcement of a child‑custody determination.
