**22 NYCRR § 205.9. Miscellaneous proceedings.** All proceedings for which the procedure has not been prescribed by provisions of the Family Court Act, the Domestic Relations Law or the Social Services Law, including but not limited to, proceedings involving consent to marry, interstate compact on juveniles and material witnesses, shall be commenced by the filing of a petition and shall require the entry of a written order.
