NEW YORK CIVIL PRACTICE LAW AND RULES (CPLR) New York State | For Informational Purposes Only CPLR § 10002 Abrogation of rules of civil practice § 10002. Abrogation of rules of civil practice. The rules of practiceadopted by the convention provided for by chapter nine hundred two ofthe laws of nineteen hundred twenty, as amended or supplemented byappropriate action of the justices of the appellate division in theseveral departments pursuant to section eighty-three of the judiciarylaw, comprising the rules of civil practice, as heretofore in effect,are hereby abrogated and shall no longer be in effect.
