NEW YORK CIVIL PRACTICE LAW AND RULES (CPLR) New York State | For Informational Purposes Only CPLR § 102 Amendment, rescission or adoption of rules § 102. Amendment, rescission or adoption of rules. The civil practicerules are herein designated "rule". Any rule in this chapter may beamended, or rescinded, or additional civil practice rules may beadopted, not inconsistent with the constitution, by act of thelegislature. No rule so amended, rescinded or adopted shall abridge orenlarge the substantive rights of any party.
