NEW YORK CIVIL PRACTICE LAW AND RULES (CPLR) New York State | For Informational Purposes Only CPLR § 213-D Actions to be commenced within three years; medical debt § 213-d. Actions to be commenced within three years; medical debt. Anaction on a medical debt by a hospital licensed under articletwenty-eight of the public health law or a health care professionalauthorized under title eight of the education law shall be commencedwithin three years of treatment.
