NEW YORK CIVIL PRACTICE LAW AND RULES (CPLR) New York State | For Informational Purposes Only CPLR § 214-F Action to recover damages for personal injury caused bycontact with or exposure to any substance or combination of subst § 214-f. Action to recover damages for personal injury caused bycontact with or exposure to any substance or combination of substancesfound within an area designated as a superfund site. Notwithstanding anyprovision of law to the contrary, an action to recover personal damagesfor injury caused by contact with or exposure to any substance orcombination of substances contained within an area designated as asuperfund site pursuant to either Chapter 103 of Section 42 of theUnited States Code and/or section 27-1303 of the environmentalconservation law, may be commenced by the plaintiff within the periodallowed pursuant to section two hundred fourteen-c of this article orwithin three years of such designation of such an area as a superfundsite, whichever is latest.
