NEW YORK CIVIL PRACTICE LAW AND RULES (CPLR) New York State | For Informational Purposes Only CPLR § 2702 Sale of property § 2702. Sale of property. On motion of any party, the court may orderthe sale, in such manner and on such terms as it deems proper, of anypersonal property capable of delivery which is the subject of the actionif it shall appear likely that its value will be substantially decreasedduring the pendency of the action. Any party to the action may purchasesuch property at a judicially-directed sale held pursuant to thissection without prejudice to his claim.
