NEW YORK CIVIL PRACTICE LAW AND RULES (CPLR) New York State | For Informational Purposes Only CPLR § 5403 Notice of filing § 5403. Notice of filing. Within thirty days after filing of thejudgment and the affidavit, the judgment creditor shall mail notice offiling of the foreign judgment to the judgment debtor at his last knownaddress. The proceeds of an execution shall not be distributed to thejudgment creditor earlier than thirty days after filing of proof ofservice.
