NEW YORK CIVIL PRACTICE LAW AND RULES (CPLR) New York State | For Informational Purposes Only CPLR § 5523 Restitution § 5523. Restitution. A court reversing or modifying a final judgmentor order or affirming such a reversal or modification may orderrestitution of property or rights lost by the judgment or order, exceptthat where the title of a purchaser in good faith and for value would beaffected, the court may order the value or the purchase price restoredor deposited in court.
