NEW YORK CIVIL PRACTICE LAW AND RULES (CPLR) New York State | For Informational Purposes Only CPLR § 7516 Confirmation of an award based on a consumer credittransaction § 7516. Confirmation of an award based on a consumer credittransaction. In any proceeding under section 7510 of this article toconfirm an award based on a consumer credit transaction, the partyseeking to confirm the award shall plead the actual terms and conditionsof the agreement to arbitrate. The party shall attach to its petition(a) the agreement to arbitrate; (b) the demand for arbitration or noticeof intention to arbitrate, with proof of service; and (c) thearbitration award, with proof of service. If the award does not containa statement of the claims submitted for arbitration, of the claims ruledupon by the arbitrator, and of the calculation of figures used by thearbitrator in arriving at the award, then the petition shall containsuch a statement. The court shall not grant confirmation of an awardbased on a consumer credit transaction unless the party seeking toconfirm the award has complied with this section.
