NEW YORK DOMESTIC RELATIONS LAW (Chapter 14) § 18 — Clergymen or officer, when protected DRL § 18 Clergymen or officer, when protected /legislation/laws/DOM/A3 § 18. Clergymen or officer, when protected. Any such clergymen orofficer as aforesaid to whom any such license duly issued may come andnot having personal knowledge of the incompetency of either partytherein named to contract matrimony, may lawfully solemnize matrimonybetween them.
