NEW YORK DOMESTIC RELATIONS LAW (Chapter 14) § 25 — License, when to be obtained DRL § 25 License, when to be obtained /legislation/laws/DOM/A3 § 25. License, when to be obtained. The provisions of this articlepertaining to the granting of the licenses before a marriage can belawfully celebrated apply to all persons who assume the marriagerelation in accordance with subdivision four of section eleven of thischapter. Nothing in this article contained shall be construed to rendervoid by reason of a failure to procure a marriage license any marriagesolemnized between persons of full age.
