NEW YORK DOMESTIC RELATIONS LAW (Chapter 14) § 52 — Insurance of married person's life DRL § 52 Insurance of married person's life /legislation/laws/DOM/A4 § 52. Insurance of married person's life. The right of a marriedperson to cause the life of his or her spouse or any other person to beinsured and to dispose of any interest such married person may have in apolicy of insurance on the life of the other spouse or of any otherperson shall be governed by the insurance law and by statutes and rulesof law governing rights of a married person in respect to property andthe acquisition, use, enjoyment and disposition thereof.
