**N.Y. Dom. Rel. Law § 77-H. Service of Petition and Order.** § 77-h. Service of petition and order. Except as otherwise provided in section seventy-seven-j of this title, the petition and order must be served, by any method authorized by the law of this state, upon respondent and any person who has physical custody of the child. Service may be made outside the state in the manner prescribed by section seventy-five-g of this article.
