**N.Y. Fam. Ct. Act § 152. Power to Administer Oaths.** (a) Each family court judge may administer oaths and take acknowledgments, and may designate an official of his court so to do. (b) In conducting a hearing under this act, a judge may dispense with the formality of placing a minor under oath before taking his testimony.
