**N.Y. Fam. Ct. Act § 256. Visitation, Inspection and Supervision by State Department of Social Services or Board of Social Welfare.** § 256. Visitation, inspection and supervision by state department of social services or board of social welfare. Any child placed or committed under order of the court shall be subject to such visitation, inspection and supervision as the state board of social welfare or department of social services shall provide for or require.
