**N.Y. Fam. Ct. Act § 459. Additional Arrears.** If a respondent has failed to obey a lawful order under this article the party seeking enforcement may amend the petition to include any additional arrears which have accrued from the commencement of such enforcement proceeding up to the date of the hearing, provided that written notice of the intention to so amend has been given eight days previously.
