**Fla. Fam. L. R. P. 12.520. VIEW.** Upon motion of either party or on the court’s own motion, the trier of fact may view the premises or place in question or any property, matter, or thing relating to the controversy between the parties when it appears that view is necessary to a just decision. Commentary 1995 Adoption. This rule replaces Florida Rule of Civil Procedure 1.520 and eliminates the advancement of costs imposed by rule 1.520.
