# 19-11-30.5. Failure of financial institution to comply. Any financial institution required to submit a report pursuant to Code Section 19-11-30.2 which fails without reasonable cause as determined by the department to comply with such reporting requirements and which, after notification by certified mail or statutory overnight delivery by the department, return receipt requested, of such failure, continues for more than 15 business days after the mailing of such notification to fail to comply without reasonable cause shall be liable for a penalty of $1,000.00. Any financial institution which willfully provides false information in reply to such notification shall be liable for a penalty of $1,000.00. ## History Code 1981, § 19-11-30.5, enacted by Ga.
