# 19-13-74. [Effective July 1, 2026] Funding. (a) The council is authorized to administer gifts, donations, grants, enter into contracts, and distribute funds appropriated by the General Assembly or received from federal sources for the establishment and support of Family Justice Centers. (b) Nothing in this article shall preclude a Family Justice Center from accepting funds from independent sources, including private donations, foundation grants, federal funding, local appropriations, or other lawful revenue streams. Any such independently funded center shall remain subject to the oversight, confidentiality, and reporting requirements of this article when established as a Family Justice Center under the laws of this state, unless it does not receive state funding. ## History Code 1981, § 19-13-74, enacted by Ga.
