# 19-3-9. Each spouse's property separate. The separate property of each spouse shall remain the separate property of that spouse, except as provided in Chapters 5 and 6 of this title and except as otherwise provided by law. ## History Laws 1809, Cobb's 1851 Digest, p. 305; Code 1863, § 1701; Ga.
