**Tex. Fam. Code § 107.017. APPOINTMENT OF AMICUS ATTORNEY PROHIBITED.** The court may not appoint a person to serve as an amicus attorney in a suit filed by a governmental entity under this chapter. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 262, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 2003.
