**Tex. Fam. Code § 152.103. PROCEEDINGS GOVERNED BY OTHER LAW.** This chapter does not govern an adoption proceeding or a proceeding pertaining to the authorization of emergency medical care for a child. Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 34, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
