**Tex. Fam. Code § 160.603. NECESSARY PARTIES TO PROCEEDING.** The following individuals must be joined as parties in a proceeding to adjudicate parentage: (1) the mother of the child; and (2) a man whose paternity of the child is to be adjudicated. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 821, Sec. 1.01, eff. June 14, 2001.
