**Tex. Fam. Code § 161.301. DEFINITIONS.** In this subchapter: (1) "Commissioner" means the commissioner of the Department of Family and Protective Services. (2) "Department" means the Department of Family and Protective Services. Added by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 710 (H.B. 2926), Sec. 1, eff. September 1, 2021.
