**Tex. Fam. Code § 201.209. LIMITATION ON LAW PRACTICE BY ASSOCIATE JUDGE.** An associate judge appointed under this subchapter may not engage in the private practice of law. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1258, Sec. 24, eff. Sept. 1, 2003.
