**Tex. Fam. Code § 232.014. FEE BY LICENSING AUTHORITY.** (a) A licensing authority may charge a fee to an individual who is the subject of an order suspending license or of an action of a child support agency under Section 232.0135 to deny issuance or renewal of license in an amount sufficient to recover the administrative costs incurred by the authority under this chapter. (b) A fee collected by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles shall be deposited to the credit of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles fund. A fee collected by the Department of Public Safety shall be deposited to the credit of the state highway fund. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 655, Sec. 5.03, eff.
