**Tex. Fam. Code § 6.801. REMARRIAGE.** (a) Except as otherwise provided by this subchapter, neither party to a divorce may marry a third party before the 31st day after the date the divorce is decreed. (b) The former spouses may marry each other at any time. Added by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 7, Sec. 1, eff. April 17, 1997.
