TEXAS RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE (March 1, 2026) Rule 227 — CHALLENGE TO JUROR PART II - RULES OF PRACTICE IN DISTRICT AND COUNTY COURTS Rule 227: CHALLENGE TO JUROR A challenge to a particular juror is either a challenge for cause or a peremptory challenge. The court shall decide without delay any such challenge, and if sustained, the juror shall be discharged from the particular case.
