TEXAS RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE (March 1, 2026) Rule 593 — REQUISITES FOR WRIT PART VI - RULES RELATING TO ANCILLARY PROCEEDINGS Rule 593: REQUISITES FOR WRIT A writ of attachment shall be directed to the sheriff or any constable within the State of Texas. It shall command him to attach and hold, unless replevied, subject to the further order of the court, so much of the property of the defendant, of a reasonable value in approximately the amount fixed by the court, as shall be found within his county.
