TEXAS RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE (March 1, 2026) Rule 724 — ISSUE MADE UP PART VI - RULES RELATING TO ANCILLARY PROCEEDINGS Rule 724: ISSUE MADE UP After the claim proceedings have been docketed, and on the hearing day set by the court, then the court, or the justice of the peace, as the case may be, shall enter an order directing the making and joinder of issues by the parties. Such issues shall be in writing and signed by each party or his attorney. The plaintiff shall make a brief statement of the authority and right by which he seeks to subject the property levied on to the process, and it shall be sufficient for the claimant and other parties to make brief statements of the nature of their claims thereto.
