TEXAS RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE (March 1, 2026) Rule 729 — COPY OF WRIT EVIDENCE PART VI - RULES RELATING TO ANCILLARY PROCEEDINGS Rule 729: COPY OF WRIT EVIDENCE In all trials of the right of property, under the provisions of this section in any county other than that in which the writ issued under which the levy was made, the copy of the writ herein required to be returned by the officer making the levy shall be received in evidence in like manner as the original could be.
