TEXAS RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE (March 1, 2026) Rule 780 — CITATION TO ISSUE PART VII - RULES RELATING TO SPECIAL PROCEEDINGS Rule 780: CITATION TO ISSUE When such information is filed, the clerk shall issue citation as in civil actions, commanding the defendant to appear and answer the relator in an information in the nature of a quo warranto.
