TEXAS RULES OF EVIDENCE (September 1, 2025) Rule 605 — Judge’s Competency as a Witness ARTICLE VI. — WITNESSES Rule 605: Judge’s Competency as a Witness The presiding judge may not testify as a witness at the trial.
